This individual will lead all marketing efforts outside the US, a critical role that will identify and help capture international growth opportunities for all Natera’s products, particularly for Panorama. This person will work closely with the US marketing team and the international sales team to understand local and regional markets on all 5 continents, analyze local market shares and sizes, estimate growth opportunities, identify growth drivers, allocate team resources, invest in promotional activities in key ma! rkets alongside our channel partners, and measure ROI on our m! arketing investments. Fundamentally this person will be responsible for growing Natera’s international business and will be responsible for managing a budget to achieve these objectives. Natera is already operating in over 30 countries worldwide so this role also calls for the ability to manage complexity and prioritize effectively.
This role is critical for Natera’s success and will be instrumental to achieving the company’s growth goals outside the US. 20-30% travel may be required. The International Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Marketing.
Skills/Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in healthcare marketing or consulting
- Fluency with international healthcare markets, localization strategies
- Master’s degree from a top school
- Analytical ability, with strategic planning and synthesis
- Creative mind for packaging and communicating value propositions
- Com! petitive and positive attitude, team player
- Passion for changing medicine
Natera develops genetic tests that help families have healthy children. The company has a CLIA-certified laboratory in California and unique technologies that combines expertise in molecular biology with advanced statistical techniques. These techniques enable Natera to analyze tiny quantities of DNA more accurately than anyone else in the world, primarily serving OBGYN physicians and their patients.
The team consists of over 300 statisticians, geneticists, doctors, laboratory technicians and software engineers from top-tier universities. Our technology has been funded by six grants from the National Institute of Health and a group of private investors led by Sequoia Capital and Orbimed investors. Natera is already providing genetic testing services to over 300 IVF centers, OBGYN practices, and partner laboratories in over 30 countries world! wide.
