In this role, you’ll lead the concept creation and development of all required Shopper Marketing to support our many marketing initiatives. You’ll also support the marketing teams in collaborating with content managers, brand managers and integrated project teams to deliver design leadership and build the Company’s capability around Shopper Creative.

The Manager, Shopper Creative role is integral in supporting Pillar-Platform program management, collaborating with the Brand teams and other stakeholders on annual business planning, aligning on briefs, ownership and development of Shopper briefs, collaborating with Human Insights team to uncover key insights and build the total shopper story, lead briefing, manage the day-to-day communications with agency partners. Responsible for attending, contributing and reporting out on cross-functional meetings for assigned Shopper work and managing the day-to-day responsibilities that come with owning a program from start to finish. Leading these Shopper Marketing projects with a high level of experience and skill in managing the creative tensions between all the stakeholder, focusing on the shopper and working backwards to strike the appropriate balance of art and science, delivering powerful creative that converts a shopper into a buyer.


What You’ll Do for Us

  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop and implement core shopper programs and messaging.

  • Develop and communicate written briefs for strategic and creative development to be used by internal or external agencies to direct their work activities in order to generate concepts for effective executions of shopper marketing programs and objectives (e.g. drive trial, increase brand love, convert shoppers to buyers).

  • Provide strategic thought leadership within connected commerce to inform role of channel and retail strategy based on priority channels.

  • High level of experience and demonstrated skill in critiquing creative and adherence to guidelines and principles.

  • Manage creative process across a large group of stakeholders, balancing the many voices of feedback and input, while holding to the true North of what with speak to the shopper in the last moment of truth.

  • Ability to represent the Shopper Creative team as a center of excellence, serving as an SME within the larger Coca-Cola Marketing ecosystem to deliver consistency and a clear Shopper path to success.

  • Manage agency relationships through selection, scope of work development, and capabilities assessment.

  • Ensure shopper program feasibility against key development timelines to ensure system use and execution.

  • Leverage project management tools and processes to lead and manage deliverables.

  • Collaborates with teams composed of multi-disciplinary backgrounds ranging from Brand, Design, E2E, Digital, Content Activation and Consumer Insights.

  • Develops concepts and creative strategies that fulfill objectives of category, concept, and brief.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in a client-side or agency role within the Shopper Creative field for a CPG brand.

  • Digital Shopper strategy/execution experience preferred.

  • Brand Positioning: Knowledge of specific brand positioning and brand architecture of The Company’s brands.

  • Brand Strategy Application: Knowledge of strategic alignment between local/global properties and brand strategy.

  • Creative Concept Evaluation: Ability to evaluate creative concepts and executions based on creative, strategic alignment and shopper impact.

  • Retail Strategy: Knowledge of an ability to use strategic thinking skills and to integrate brand and shopper strategies into the core creative idea.

  • Agency Management: Knowledge of methods or techniques used and ability to inspire agency performance.

  • Creative Brief Development: Knowledge of the creative brief development process.

  • Consumer Knowledge: Knowledge of in-store consumer purchasing behavior in order to develop effective in-store merchandising programs.

  • Strategic Selling: Ability to listen to various points of input, and sell a vision of the work through knowledge of brand and creative strategy.
