Regional West has an immediate opening for a full time cl! inical nurse educator for our Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units in our Birth and Infant Care Center. You will have a key role in orienting new staff, providing ongoing education and clinical competencies for Birth and Infant Care Center Staff.
Design, develop, and maintain curriculum for our core educational programming based on identified needs
Evaluate and revise curriculum based on evidence-based practice, standards & guidelines, and changes within the Birth and Infant Care Center
A little about our unit:
800 births per year
4 LDR, 2 Triage rooms, 1 c-section and 11 postpartum rooms
8 bed Level II NICU
We utilize AWHONN Staffing Guidelines
Our NICU has been upgraded and remodeled
The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of three (3) years current Labor and Delivery experience
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
Completed or willing to enroll in a MSN program focused in Nursing Educatio! n, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Speci! alist
Preferred, but not required, Inpatient Obstetrics and Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification
