Our client in Northwest Nebraska is seeking a BE/BC Emergency Medicine physician to join their current state of the art facility. The position i! s a hospital employed position, offering full benefits, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance and a salary based off MGMA standards. The emergency department is currently comprised of 10 exam rooms, 2 trauma bays, 2-bay ambulance garage, a dedicated decontamination room, a negative air-pressure room and holding/triage rooms.
Designated as a trauma level 3 center, the emergency department has 11,000+ annual visits and is equipped with an ultrasound and glidescope in department. The position offers flexibility with 12 and 24 shifts with additional Advanced Practice Provider coverage, daytime hours, 7 days/week. The hospital also contains progressive diagnostic imaging services including MRI, a 64 slice CT scanner, dedicated hospital resources, and excellent nursing staff. Another bonus is the excellent backup in the following specialties: Surgery, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology and 24/7 coverage of an in house Radiologist.
The hosp! ital is located 80 miles from two metropolitan areas, Omaha an! d Lincoln, Nebraska. The population is about 22,000 with a diverse job base, making it the most industrialized city per capita in the state of Nebraska. The community offers a fair tax structure, strong public & private school systems, excellent childcare, beautiful parks, several golf courses, outdoor activities, and clean, safe neighborhoods without traffic jams. Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium would be a great venue for you to spend an afternoon visiting the world’s largest indoor desert and hiking the 4 mile safari park where the animals roam freely.
