We are seeking a Spanish-speaking, compassionate BE/BC Family Practice Physician energized by the opportunity to care for underserved patients in a cross-cultural medical home.

- Grad! uation from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy.
- Completion of an approved residency program in medicine.
- Board eligibility in Internal medicine of Family Practice is required. Board certification is preferred.
- License to practice medicine in the State of Nebraska (or ability to obtain one).
- Ability to relate to culturally diverse patients and community.
- Bilingual in Spanish - ability to speak enough to examine Spanish-speaking patients and converse on basic level strongly preferred.
- Must be qualified in Basic Life Support techniques.
- Ability and willingness to serve on the active medical staff of affiliated hospitals.
- Provides primary medical care by caring for all patients in accordance with the physician's medical specialty.
- Develops a plan of care for each patient, including: complete medical history, physici! an examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment and/or referral, including hospitalization where necessary.
- Stresses the importance of preventive health care measures.
- Uses all available resources in diagnosis and treatment, such as laboratory and radiological testing, in an appropriate and cost efficient manner.
- Confers with consulting physicians, nurse, patients, and patients families concerning treatment and care of patients.
- Refers those cases that require specialist services, but maintains responsibility, assuring that continuity of care is provided.
- Participates in the development and implementation of a regularly up-dated performance improvement plan for the Organization.

In 2012, OneWorld saw nearly 25,000 unique patients in over 100,000 patient visits across its locations and services. To meet its patient's needs, OneWorld operates under an integrated model of health care that includes Behavioral Health, Pharmacy, WIC/Nutrition, Midwife and other services, Pediatric Residency Training, and other special programs such as Childhood Obesity Group Visits, Play Therapy groups for children not meeting developmental milestones, and School Based Health Centers.
OneWorld's main campus is in historic South Omaha housing a new Women's Health Center and Acute Care Clinics, with an established satellite campus in West Omaha and one in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. OneWorld also operates several School-based Health Centers. To meet the communitys continuously growing needs, OneWorld is continually expanding services to include additional satellite clinics, expanded urgent care hours, and future School-based health center locations.
