We have an exciting opportunity in our real estate sector in Vienna with projects range from multiple complex small projects, through to large, new build projects.
Tasks:
- Develop, implement and maintain cost management procedures and processes to support projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare preliminary, elemental and detailed estimates of construction and related costs.
- Review and evaluate / value-engineer design and outline specifications and exercise cost control in conjunction with the project team.
- During the construction phase, prepare regular cost reports, cashflow forecasts and progress valuations for payment.
- Prepare pro-active estimates for variations.
- Carry out project cost performance analysis to support reporting.
- Undertake quantitative and qualitative risk analysis on the project costs.
- Identify the key programme cost issues and focus attention on the critical elements for delivery within the project.
- Identify significant areas of risk based upon forecast information within the cost reports.
- Communication of the cost management standards throughout the planning and construction teams.
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate or similar.
- Ideally qualified as a registered Quantity Surveyor.
- A minimum of 5 years proven experience on constructions projects.
- English skills are required as well as basic German skills (min. B1) and willingness to improve the German language skills – Turner & Townsend can assist by providing intensive language training courses.
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of cost databases and/or estimating software is advantageous.

The minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this role is 68,000 euros p.a. It is expressly pointed out that an overpayment is foreseen according to your experience and qualifications.
